Probst hinted that we may want to find out more information - about the UN or just the former Secretaty-Generals? I would guess they fit together. Anyone want to try to gather some links of information? Maybe we will need it.
"Each of these tribes is named after a former Secretary-General of the UN. I believe it would be nice if you learned a bit of info while you are out here.
The first tribe is the green Thant. It's named after U Thant. He was from Myanmar and was the 3rd Secretary-General. Interestingly, Thant was his whole name. The U in front is simply a term of respect in his culture. He served from 1961 - 1972.
The second tribe is the red Waldheim. It's named after Kurt Waldheim, who was from Austria. He served immediately after U Thant, making him the 4th Secretary-General. He served from 1972 - 1982. Following his term as Secretary-General, he went on to be Austria's 9th president.
The third tribe is the yellow Annan. It's named after Kofi Annan. Skipping over Javier Pérez de Cuéllar (Peru) and Boutros Boutros-Ghali (Egypt), Kofi Annan is the 7th Secretary-General. From Ghana, he served from 1997 - 2007. One of the major issues he targeted during his tenure was HIV/AIDS crisis.
The final tribe is the purple Ki-Moon. It's name after the 8th (and current) Secretary-General of the UN, South Korean Ban Ki-Moon. Following the Korean tradition, his last name comes first, so in actuality his last name is Ban and his first name is Ki-Moon."
