This round was more successful. I knew the key to this round was to get James immunity so I went to work on it. I was willing to give immunity to James should I have won, and I asked Steph if she was which she was if she was reasured Kathy was voting with us. So after getting the reasurance from Kathy, working together on the challenge, and Steph winning ... she gave it to James! ;D RESULT!
So obviously, we had our 5 votes for Stacy, then had theres for Steph, which then turned into BJ. Rudy tried to get myself and Kathy to vote with them and said he was 'looking out for all 3 of our interests' and talked SO much about past votes. Yet, like I said to him, past votes are useless when you don't have the numbers to force a tie, and if Stacy had survived and Steph or BJ went home, I'd be voted out not long after anyway. I was shocked in the sense that he thought it might have actually worked, I was reading in thinking 'please tell me he doesn't think I am this dumb' but then as a player, Rudy doesn't give up, so the fact he did try, that didn't surprise me, and I respect him for that. He also said something along the lines of 'Steph has gave immunity to him to try and get you all on side' and used that as an argument, little does he know it was all my idea. And of course he still doesn't. I'm still frustrated though as I want to scrap it all and work with Rudy because of how much I like him, and purely from Shetland, but at the same time, I want to win, and I wanna do it on my own merit and play my own game without turning a perfectly good strategy on it's head because I like Rudy more than I do others.
Silas also interests me. He was adamant to me that he was playing his own game and that he was letting the other sides face off. Yet when I said to him that he'd voted with Annan the last 2 rounds, he said it's because they are 'nicer' to him, and they talk more. It's not our fault you only like talking on AIM. Though he went on further to say the only people he doesn't want out our myself, Steph and Tom. I'm inclined to believe he genuiney doesn't want me out [just yet] but I don't believe he wants me at the end with him. However, even though he's adamant he's playing his own game, he sent Kathy a 'friendly warning' apparantly which to me was an indirect threat. He said something like if she doesn't vote BJ with them, after they voted with how she wanted the last 2 rounds, she would annoy and upset all of the Annan's ... however, Silas 'didn't care' how Kathy actually did vote, he just wanted to 'warn her'. Yeah right, Silas wants to warn and help the person he wanted out last round? He should grant Kathy with more intelligence. Silas openly told me he wanted Kathy out last round, so now he wants to suddenly 'look out for her best interests' .... yeah, I'm sure. I don't think he realises just how close me and Kathy are, which is a further plus. That to me though shows that he 100% with the Annan's, he wouldn't go out on a limb [especially as he hates PM'ing ] just to warn Kathy, he wanted to ensure BJ went home and 'his side' had the numbers.
I don't want to get too confident but does anybody in this game want me out? No. I honestly don't believe one single person wants me out of this game right now. The only person that ever did was Ozzy, and I made sure he didn't have the chance. However, I do believe everybody else has some form of target on their back ...
Rudy wants Steph out
Steph wants Rudy out
Everybody other than Annan's + Silas wants Tom out
Silas wants BJ out
Silas also wants Kathy out
Kathy wants Silas out
I want Tina out
Nobody would say no to James being voted out LOL
Who wants Sundra out? Or am I just dillusional and will I be blindsided? LOL.
I can't fault my position right now. I have my #1 ally Kathy, BJ who I'd happily sit in the F3 with [very easy to beat, and I like him too] and I feel he feels closest to me. Steph and James who have both mentioned the the F3 and I was in those plans ... so there's 4 out of the 8 remaining players who I'd say are on my side, pretty much to the end. Then there's Rudy who given the chance, I feel would definatly go to the end with me now, I'm probably the only person he talks to now from the other side, and I feel he knows that it's not looking to good for his group now and is trying to get me on side. Like I said, I'd love to, in an ideal world, but is it best for my game? I doubt it. Then there's Silas who as I said above, said I was one of 3 people he didn't want to vote out.
That only leaves Tom and Tina, the 2 I feel would happily vote me out if they were asked to. Hence why I have 5 votes to send Thomas's arse to the jury balcony this round, and I feel I could easily get the votes to send home Tina next round. But that depends on how I feel about Silas come next round ... if I still have doubts about him [and knowing he's close with Steph still] it may be smart for him to go next round, because Tina is pretty useless. I'm sorry but what does she do? Perhaps she's playing 'behind the scenes' and is the puppet master, but I doubt it, she does not pose any threat to me whatsoever, she's a number against my group, somebody who I feel would vote me out, but is that enough for me to want to send her home over a potential huge threat? I don't think so.
