So this round weren't hugely successful, but it was a step in the right direction. I think this round we saw plain and simple what the sides are in this game. We have myself, Alicia, James, Steph and BJ vs Tina, Rudy, Tom, Stacy and Silas. Kathy is in the middle voting on how she feels comfortable.
So, I think now, any F3 of me, Kathy and Rudy is out of the window, and I'll go into that more later. On a personal level, I love Rudy, but in this game, we're on opposite sides, and we both love control, and working together, we firstly can't agree, and secondly we both can't control, so in this game, it's a disaster partnership, which is a shame because I'd have loved to have worked with him.
Anyway, they did the sensible thing of voting out Alicia as James has 5 past votes so they could use that at the f10, to force a tie and send him home. But we all voted Stacy, getting her 5 past votes, and it all came down to Kathy who unsurprisingly voted out Alicia, she has been waiting to take Alicia out all game. She did tell me she would vote out Stacy at f10, just not f11 ... she knows how to make a job a lot more difficult than it need be, I give her that.
So Alicia went and we're at the f10 with both James and Stacy with 5 votes, therefore the obvious targets for both sides at this next vote. Kathy is voting Stacy this round, so that's 5 votes Stacy and 5 James, meaning it'll all come down to a tiebreaker which hopefully James will win. However, the first thing we need to do is ensure Stacy doesn't win immunity, that's the most important. But ideally, we need to get James immunity, as that will gaurantee Stacy goes home and that we won't need to rely on a tiebreaker. Should I win immunity, I'll give it to James, and I've asked Steph to see if she'd do the same and she would, providing she's certain Kathy is in. I'll speak to BJ about the possibility too.
Anyway, back to Rudy. What a snake. He told Alicia on AIM that it was all Kathy's idea to take her out this round, which wasn't true. Yes, Kathy openly said she wants Alicia out, but that was last round, she didn't initiate it which Rudy implied to Alicia. Rudy told Alicia to not tell Kathy about it, but obviously it was passed to James who passed it to me, steph and BJ, and I passed it onto Kathy. Rudy's only gave me more amunition for Kathy to not vote with him in the future, which is what I want, because they are close. Believe it or not, I'm playing to get me and Kathy to the end, not just myself, and it's infuriating when she plays into Rudy's hands, because ultimately he isn't trying to get Kathy to the end like I am, which was evident when he threw her under the bus to Alicia. There's nothing wrong with that, it's all part of the game, and he's playing it and good [just not as smart with that AIM convo] but I just wish Kathy would see it. He also told Alicia, as well Kathy things that I said to him. It annoyed me, because in a PM he said to me "i hope you don't use anything i've said against me and tell anybody" yet goes and tells 2 people [that i know of] things that I've said. What did he have to achieve by that other than stirring the pot? Absolutely nothing.
It's strange playing 'against' Colleen this time around, it's definatly interesting because of course in Shetland I knew she was a strong player, you just don't realise how strong untill you are actually against them. I quite like it actually. Like I said, on a personal level, love her, and I love her gameplay too, nothing she does in this game will make me think any less of her, she's probably the best ally I've ever had in an ORG, but it's interesting playing against her nevertheless.
