Well, forgive my paranoia, but he stated a lot of rules. Maybe this will help. I also asked this, first: "So not instant messaging even with my tribemate Alicia? (I've turned it off in case.)" reply: "If it's your tribemate, it shouldn't matter. " Sundra, Hunter and Bobby Jon are our tribemates too

yup, they sure are, alicia. Fine, active tribe mates like yourself. Oh, I will share this with everyone - I posted in large font to our host: "What does inherent mean to mk?" when I was frustrated with myself and the directions earlier. I'm cool now.

So...can we talk? or not? I'd prefer it if we could discuss the challenge, but I'm a bit hesitant to

Well, it's up to us. I believe what Sundra said, that there was no rule stating we could not, but I think MK stated the quandary to me, because perhaps it's not so much about rules, but the strategy of the challenge - up to us to decide that.
I think our April fool thread color talk was quite helpful.
Alicia and I have to try to convince the helper group to vote FOR us, and since I have been serving food and drink to everyone, I had an idea and will tell you what I tried.
I had offered drink to everyone but Jaime and Silas (purple) because it was late and I was serving dinner by the time they arrived. So this morning I offered Silas and Jaime some GRAPE juice and asked them if they could pass Alicia and me some CRANBERRY juice. ( not in caps, lol ) Silas had said he as ready to make a sweet deal, so I mentioned if he saw the sweet sticky buns.
So that was my way of trying to "make a deal" with the purple tribe.
Also John described a meal he had last night with strawberry sauce and he also thought an apple and honey sauce. Don't know if he was dropping hints or not, but I told him I love strawberry cheesecake. (and I really do!)
Oh! And an innocent thing happened when Tina asked for cappuccino - I said, "no cappuccino, Tina, sorry." because I wasn't serving it - didn't think the UN would have that in a meeting. However now they could think (yellow) that I am not making a deal, but I doubt it.
So, we'll see how the food /color hints go. I don't know what else to do.

The only other idea I have about color to try to get votes FOR us is about the group helping to make a flag. Flags have color, lol. But I get stuck - do I say, "I have grown very fond of the color red recently and wish the group flag could hace a lot of red (some red?), but Waldheim cannot help to put red in the flag." (the helpers) So this would be a way for the group to discuss and make deals without being direct. Just an idea, help me out, tell me to leave it alone, change it - whatever. For now I will just try to continue with the food theme and see if anyone wants to bite! Ozzy mentioned, "Anyone ready to dish?" And I said I was busy dishing food and drink.

It's possible a tie could occur, so we need to be thinking about getting our votes in to try and get an earlier in time, do you all agree?

It's possible a tie could occur, so we need to be thinking about getting our votes in to try and get an earlier in time, do you all agree? Time submission is the last tie breaker - I find waht he wrote hard to understand, but here it is: "The tribe with the lowest number of points in the end will go to the Security Council. In the event of a tie, of the two tied tribes, the tribe that had the most helpers help them will be saved. If there is still a tie, we check hurters. If there is still a tie, time of submission is into effect." But I have no problem with voting soon, because Alicia and I agreed on a vote - still need to recheck with her, though. I have not changed my mind.
