I messaged the host: "Can helpers and hurters report in their camp what is happening ?" His "muddy" reply to me: "I'm not answering, mwaha... ;D Figuring out whether or not you can do that is an unstated, yet inherent part of the challenge. Good luck Kathy. "I then said I think we can to tease him (because I think we cannot) and he replied. "I can't answer that." That's what he said. I'm even worried about posting it here, but we do need to be clear.

He never stated in the challenge that tribe members can't discuss the challenge so I see no reason why we can't. After all, it's a "tribal" challenge ... we're a tribe, working together, I think otherwise then the challenge is pointless because it would just turn into pairs giving and taking away points from random tribes ... were's the strategy, discussion and teamwork in that? And MK doesn't make his challenges like that, he wouldn't have given 60 hours for us to pretty much "randomly" give out our points, I think we should and are definately allowed to discuss it.
Obviously BJ can't cause he's sitting out.

Then please help me understand what he wrote to me - why he didn't just say that it was ok? he also said it was a good question.
I want to discuss here, just not sure if we can.

This part:
Figuring out whether or not you can do that is an unstated, yet inherent part of the challenge."
I can see it both ways, and get your point about it being a tribal challenge.
He also made 2 boards so we could not see the other discussion.

He's just trying to "cause confusion" or whatever, LOL. In my games I do the same, if I don't specify something in the rules, I presume people realise that it's not therefore a rule ... then when people ask I don't give them a straight answer. If he punishes us/we lose the challenge for discussing it then it's won't be fair, we'll have been sent to tribal council unfairly and from Shetland and Suspicion, MK isn't an unfair host, he never has been.

Well, forgive my paranoia, but he stated a lot of rules. Maybe this will help. I also asked this, first: "So not instant messaging even with my tribemate Alicia? (I've turned it off in case.)" reply: "If it's your tribemate, it shouldn't matter. "

So, are you saying that in general we still can't talk in between tribes about the game, except in this challenge we can in those 2 boards.
You think we can talk in tribe. No doubt it would help a lot.

(I've turned it off in case.)" reply: "If it's your TRIBEmate, it shouldn't matter. " Well we are all a tribe so it won't matter if we discuss it, well that's what I get from that PM. The way I look at it, if he doesn't specify it, how are we to know? I say we discuss it but I'll go with whatever you all want to do, discuss it or not? I just think we'll have a better chance at winning if we discuss it.

No doubt it would help a lot. We're not able to talk to other tribe members through PM but for the duration of the challenge we can talk to the other tribe mates in those boards ... is that what you're asking?

Then if that's how you see it, let's discuss it - take the risk, I want my tribe.

Nah, base it on what you all think, that's just my view on it afterall.
But tbh, I think we're thinking about it too much and overcomplicating it LOL.

probably - over complicating it - me - a nervous nelly.
I say we make another thread if Hunter and Alicia agree to discussing this challenge. I'm up for it.

hi Hunter :-) Is your gut feeling that it is ok?
and I have not thought through how us deciding together or discussing can help - I do want help on how to debate - what to say for my tribe to be immune I know.
