Welcome castaways. As you can see, John Kenney was voted out of Thant the other night. Now it's on to our next challenge. As you might have inferred from the treeMail I sent you, you are going to be doing a redux of the first ever immunity challenge from Survivor: Philippines - Lighting of the Torch. Here's how it will work.
Each member of your tribe is going to send me by PM a picture of a torch - it must be lit and it must be wooden. This time, there is an addition to the rules. Every person on your tribe must submit a different torch (but people from different tribes can send the same one, there is no penalty for that.) If you send in the same torch as someone else from your tribe, neither of your torches count and you must both resend. Aside from that add-on, the rules are the same as the first Lighting of the Torch challenge.
The first three tribes to complete this challenge will be spared from Security Council. The last tribe to complete this will meet me there to vote out the fourth All-Star from the game.
You have 24 hours to submit.

As of right now, Danni's last log in was at 7:54 and Jaime's was at 8:01, both tonight. Guess it will depend on who actually sent in fastest...AND if everyone's pics count by the rules given..including us! lol

OMG that was TENSE! Heres the results....
Well, everyone submitted.
But this has been a really hard challenge for me to do. Why? Because the rules state, quite clearly, that the torch had to be LIT and it had to be WOODEN. Now here's the problem.
Some of your torches are wooden. Some of your torches are definitely not wooden. And some of your torches could be wooden depending on the way you look at them.
But time is up on the challenge, so now I have to make my decision. It never occurred to me that I would have to go through every torch and subjectively decide whether or not the torch is actually wooden. And what if only part is wooden? How much wood must the torch have to be considered wooden? I can't really say 100% for sure either way, because I don't actually know what the torch is made of. So here's what I decided to do. I am not doing first, second, or third. Instead, you are either safe or going to Security Council, so that takes off the pressure of having to rank who sent in the wooden-est torches.
THANT tribe, you are safe and you are the only tribe who sent in four obviously wooden torches.
The other three tribes had at least one picture that was debatable. Now, this is where I could get all flustered, staring forever at each of your pictures. For example, Jaime's torch is mostly this darkened flaming thing and I can't really make out what it is AT ALL aside from the fact that it is definitely some kind of torch-like object. And Stacy's torch is a Survivor torch, which makes me think it's wooden, but it actually looks really metallic. And if I did the 'metallic thing' with Stacy, I would have to apply that to Bobby Jon's torch, which in my opinion is definitely not wooden anyway. But again, I can't say for sure.
So here I am, having to make the decision of which of you three tribes I'm going to send to Security Council.
ANNAN
...you are safe.
KI-MOON
...you are going to Security Council for the second time.
As conflicted as I was about how to score the challenge, I finally made a decision. First off, Ki-Moon was last to finish anyway. Secondly, even if I went through and picked out all the pictures I thought were debatable, Ki-Moon would've had two debatable torches and Annan and Waldheim had only one debatable torch each. So either way, I've decided that Ki-Moon loses this challenge.
So Ki-Moon, I'll be seeing you at Security Council. The rest of you, head on back to camp.
We won...barely. lol Great job!
