WOW! This combination is truly explosive! This is going to be an ACTION-PACKED SEASON!!
So far, the tribes have been divided and I posted the first Treemail. Here are my first impressions of the tribes...
THANT - Drama central!! Danni is shaking things up, not strategically although she might. But she is certainly a huge personality. Then there's Michelle and John K., both huge personalities. Ozzy is always trying some huge game plan, although I wonder if that's wise. I might talk more about whether or not Ozzy is trying too hard later. James seems to be the quietest one, and may end up being a pawn in a strategist's plan. I don't know James very well, so I'm interested to see how he does.
WALDHEIM - A fairly calm tribe. Alicia is often controlled by her emotions, so that might be a problem for her in the long-run. Bobby Jon is a seasoned player, who has shown that he can win. He's probably the best strategist on Waldheim, although Hunter could give him a run for his money. Kathy and Sundra - I imagine they will get along well. Kathy is a wonderful presence to have in the game and Sundra can be tenacious, she doesn't give up. All the girls in this tribe ended up being the last person from their tribe by the time they were eliminated - Alicia and Sundra made it to the Final TC. I wonder if having many tenacious people will result having an overall tenacious tribe... or if in their quest for individual survival they don't care much for the others. I expect the first, as the people in this tribe are very nice and mostly non-dramatic. However, I wouldn't be surprised if Bobby Jon or Hunter ends up taking advantage of their more soft-hearted tribemates.
ANNAN - A powerful tribe. They get along well, it seems. Only Stacy missed the Final TC, making it the tribe with the highest overall finish. I wonder though, if they will stick together in the long run. I know Jon and Tom W. are really here for themselves, more so than others. Stacy is a great player, and it'd be wrong to underestimate here. Rudy is one of the 'nice' players, but he's shown that he won't give up until the end. Tina meanwhile is a player who is very solid. People like Tina. However, the question is whether or not Tina will be strong enough to make it, considering what people are going to be willing to do this season. She might have to make her a play a bit darker in order to make it far.
KI-MOON - The feuding tribe. We have two major feuds here, Aras vs. Jaime and Steph vs. Silas. Then you have poor Candice in the middle. I didn't realize those pairs were placed together at the beginning, but it will make an exciting dynamic. Everyone has shown they can play well. I just wonder how much teamwork this tribe will have. Steph is going to be a pretty big target, I imagine. Silas also seems to be targeted almost more than any other person I've ever played with. Candice will either go very early, or she will be able to turn the situation to her favor, and end up going very far. Aras and Jaime might be able to patch things up, but Jaime is suspicious. I wonder if this tribe will implode or if it will manage to turn everyone's individual strengths into something that will win.
