Talking in camp could help or hurt us, but is not breaking a rule.
Tricky - trying to be indirect in camp and in the UN meeting. ;D
Color code talk - fun!

direct talk from Silas - unfun - not a listener. I don't understand or trust it. Maybe he had already voted - I don't know, probably not with Jaime still not here.
I believe that most tribes have voted, like Hunter reminded us it could be the tie-breaker. Perhaps some have not because of schedules to be online and the length of time given. We had not yet voted when Silas presented his "deal." But then we did.
Ozzy's talk about who deserved to be in All-Stars - how did that help? Only hurt him I think.
A challenge that was fun, now is not. I will have other fun tonight since we are really not stuck here together in the UN.

It all worked out. I was quite a "different" Kathy from 3 years ago.
Each tribe voted for one of the others they said - it's a good thing there is no talking allowed elsewhere.
I think we voted first, then maybe K-Moon, Thant, and Annan.
My tribe is fortunate to have people that can be here a lot.

We lost.
I thought that if a tribe's pairs did not match or were late that they were penalized - subtract from them. I guess that was the math but not how i was thinking about it. And also - the rules said when a tribe voted, the helper votes counted +2, hurter counted -1. I thought that was how those close ties would be avoided.
I'm not going to challenge my host because he understands his rules, and I certainly didn't understand most of them for the whole challenge.
I'll reread them later and do the math myself the way I interpreted his scoring and see if it comes out the same.
Nevertheless I accept the loss ant the game moves on. And I remember Jaime for the future.

Kathy, helper votes count +1, not +2, so yeah, they were designed to be able to cancel out.

yeah - as I said - I reread and get it. there was an example you gave that said "+2" but it was 2 tribes voting for another - which did not happen here. Thanks.
