Well, that was an interesting challenge... what will the results tell us? Let's start with Thant... Thant HELPED Annan. Thant HURT Annan. Meaning that Thant effectively does nothing, because their votes cancel out. Okay. Everyone tied at 0. Let's move on to Waldheim. Waldheim HELPED Ki-Moon. Waldheim HURT Thant. Now we're getting somewhere. Ki-Moon +1 Waldheim 0 Annan 0 Thant - 1 What did Annan do? Annan HELPED Thant. Annan HURT Ki-Moon. Wel, that's just great... everyone is back to 0 again. But we can't stay at zero, because we still have one tribe left. Did they do what Thant did? Ki-Moon HELPED Waldheim Ki-Moon HURT Waldheim Everyone is tied... Except... wait... No they're not... Because Ki-Moon.... Failed to meet the voting deadline, therefore... Ki-Moon HELPED No one -1 point penalty to Ki-Moon! Ki-Moon HURT Waldheim Once all tie-breakers are taken into effect... ANNAN IS FIRST PLACE (0 POINTS, equal H&Hs, faster submission time)!!!THANT IS SECOND PLACE (0 POINTS, equal H&Hs, slower submission time)!!!Waldheim and Ki-Moon both have -1... but who will be sent to Security Council? Since Ki-Moon had the Waldheim tribe voted to help them... Ironically... Waldheim's vote to help Ki-Moon ended up saving them from Security Council. KI-MOON is third. (-1 POINT, 1 Helper)WALDHEIM is last! (-1 POINT, 0 Helpers)and will be meeting me at Security Council. The rest of you, head on back to camp.

So in effect, Ki-Moon are being rewarded for missing the deadline? Great.

I'm glad I didn't have to do that math. If I had been doing it I might have used the old "new" math!

Just curious...how does Waldheim get the -1? Does a late submission by Ki-Moon still allow their HURT to count? I am also confused.
But congrats to Annan, Thant and Ki-Moon. Good luck to the Waldheim players.

I'm confused, too, but all I know is that I get another night of sleep in my hammock. Some French guy's yelling at me, but I have no idea what he's saying. I keep telling him "We're in America! Speak English!"
Anyway, good luck Waldheim.

I am guessing that Ki-Moon hurters submitted on time giving Waldheim the negative 1 but the Ki-moon helpers didnt submit in time so their help didnt count.
That would give Ki-Moon the edge over Waldheim with Ki-Moon winning the 1st tiebreaker of most helpers. Waldheim helped Ki-Moon but Ki-Moon was late in helping Waldheim.
Am I right Probst?
If so and Ki-Moon did that intentionally props for being very sneaky and successful.

Does a late submission by Ki-Moon still allow their HURT to count? One of the Helpers was late, none of the Hurters were late, so only the Helpers were penalized. So our Hurt counted. Good luck Waldheim. It sucks going to SC in this game.
